Sixty and Beyond...

Well here I am 60 years after arriving in this realm and that is 21.900 days and that is 525.600 hours of life I have mostly enjoyed...

60 Is Just fine

I think turning 60 is good as it leaves the past where it should be and offers hope of a better future as my past is still tainted with awful childhood experiences of family violence and some quite appalling treatment over the years from an older sibling who I will not name...

Yes, my parents loved me at some level, but they also wanted total control and had many moments of physical, verbal and mental cruelty of which I still have nightmares about today. So thanks mum, dad and brother for the memories...

Enough said and moving on I am 60 and loving my life with my wife Sue, children Nick, Sam, Holly and Sophie and looking forward to meeting my granddaughter Lillie in a few weeks, life has ended up good after all...
