Passing Shadows
The new album 'Passing Shadows', which is my first attempt at a 'concept' album, is dropping on selected streaming and download sites on October 31 2025 after sitting on the shelf for nine years...
Focusing on Life, Death and most of the bits in-between. The album was too weird nine years ago and still is pretty weird in some respects; but the world has become weird enough to accept something different and totally original in design.
The title track opens with a nice orchestration leading into the main song which passes over to the rest of the album; featuring songs of love, life, optimism and ultimately leading to the final track 'After Life' which is how you might imagine crossing over might be. A busy transit station with conductors ushering souls to the next point in their journey...
Like all albums different people will have different perspectives on the songs and any meanings they may have; so add it to your favourite playlist, download on iTunes and take a journey of discovery amongst the 'Passing Shadows'...
So, new album aside I must share my concerns over current world events and like you I hope our 'world leaders' can genuinely bring the continued violence, illegal invasions and occupations of sovereign territories in addition to the clear breaches of human rights and infringements of international law to an end.
Everyone on this planet is entitled to a peaceful life with food, water and shelter without foreign powers attempting to gain territory and control over regions far beyond their own borders. The victims of war are usually the innocent people stuck in the middle and of course the 'truth' which is often obfuscated by the agendas of very selfish megalomaniacs with no real compassion, understanding or respect for others who may be culturally and religiously different from themselves.
With that in mind I genuinely hope and to some degree expect a return to a peaceful world where people's diversity and individuality can be respected, nurtured and given the opportunity to thrive on all levels.
I look forward to seeing you all on the various platforms available to share in what is an exciting and optimistic journey we all ultimately share as humans...
May our world indeed find peace and understanding for all of us in the future...
